Kudos to All Soccer Parents and their Families

Not being a parent, it is hard to really understand the passion to be so totally immersed in your child's sports.  I think I am starting to get it though. I just spent the weekend going to 2 soccer games that my youngest cousin Braelyn played in and won their class championship! Yeah!!!! They were undefeated and had no goals scored against them in four games! Theses parents and families traveled from WV, spent 2 nights in hotel rooms and eating out for three days. They went to 2 soccer games a day spread out over Greensboro, then had to drive back to WV to go back to work and school. All for your 11 yr. old to play soccer? REALLY? But they LOVE IT, and I would too if it were my child!  I know my Mother would attend anything we participated in with extreme passion and commitment. She didn't miss a game or event...EVER!!!! So, with that being said...You go you soccer people! Rock on!
